A moving van...

Tonight's post will be brief, but I want you to know how God has answered your prayers in the form of a moving van. As most of you know, Burns is looking for a job. He met with a man who owns a landscaping business on Christmas Eve and has been offered a job to work with his company, but he won't start with him until the middle of the month. Burns has a very strong desire to be responsible and waste none of the time that God has given him, which means that he really doesn't want to just "sit around" and wait for this new job to start. He has helped out at the church in his free time since he's been home and done some other work as well, but hasn't come up with anything he can do to fill his time this week and make some money. As he and (our fabulous friend) Jimmy were driving down I635 today he saw a moving van. He felt compelled to call the number on the side of the van only to find that it was a very kind christian man that owns a moving company who will be doing work here in Carrollton for the next few days. He needs Burns' help. What a blessing! God is good, all the time - isn't He? He'll work this week for the company and go back to San Angelo this weekend to wrap up some things there before coming back home for good. Please continue to pray that God will provide work for him to keep him occupied and productive as he waits for his new job to begin.
As always, thanks for your prayers and for reading. You guys are such a blessing to us!
{You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.} Psalm 16:11
